We joined over 3500 scouts on an old airfield at Sint Truiden in Belgium for a weekend of meeting scouts from 11 countries. We went on a hike, did on site activites in mixed international patrols and enjoyed an evening concert.

A troop tradition – we went down for our annual snow cave weekend at the International Scout Center in Kandersteg. The snow arrived when we left, but we had a great time snow-shoeing, curling, sledding and skiing.

Fishing in the Black Forest 11.14
For the November campout, the troop went to the Black Forest to practice their fishing skills. The Scouts also got to cook the fish they caught for dinner. (And for the first time in three years, it did not snow – but it did rain…)
Campout and hike at Castle Teck
The September campout took us to Dettingen to a wonderful campground owned by a German Scout group. We enjoyed practicing scouting skills on site and hiked through the scenic German countryside, visiting a local “Backhaus” (backery) and up to the Castle Teck.
